Easter weekend

I hope you all had a Happy Easter. Ours was nice and quiet. Good friday and Easter saturday evening I spent in front of the tv. I saw Jesus die 4 times and the resurection once. I watched The passion Of the Christ (too much!) 2 other passion movies and THE best: Jesus Christ Superstar. I know all the lyrics by heart (and so does Lotte:) so I sat on the couch singing out loud and meanwhile quilting. DH, DS and youngest DD all left the building..

Since the weather here looked and felt like summer I first did some gardening. I'm not a gardener at all, but the weeds were growing faster than the regular, wanted plants. My legs ache now from bending over (not a pretty site I know) and from using muscles I forgot I had.
Today I did some laundry

This means that....tadáááá: I finished quilting the red and white quilt. (I'm still waiting for binding fabric so I'll show it when it's all done and labeled.) So now I can go back and play with dots and spots fabrics.
I set up a working space at the garden table.

During a long lazy afternoon I watched DH polish his bike, DS come back from an Easter Popfestival (he took a bath and fell asleep in the tub. I had to check on him every now and then to see if he was still alive ....) and youngest DD go out on skeelers.
I washed and ironed fabric, folded fabric, cut it,( got a little sunburned), sewed some propellors and sashings and this is it so far


Don't know exactly what I want with this project except that it has to become bedsized. We'll see where the dots and spots 'll take me!
Tomorrow it's a working day again :( Only 2 weeks though 'till Springbreak! Yaay!
